GEHL ROUND BALERSSPECIFICATIONS >>
An evolution in round balers.
Save time and add more efficiency to your haying operation with the patented Variable Open-Throat Power In-Feed System available only from Gehl. Choose from five models, available in seven different configurations to match any application.
The full line of high-performance balers from Gehl include not only the most advanced, but also the fastest — kicking out more bales per hour than the competition. That's because Gehl has incorporated higher speed starts with an all-new in-feed system designed to outperform the others.
And the exclusive Total Density Control (TDC®) System provides better bale control in a wider variety of applications.
Two standard models are equipped with a 540-rpm drive, a standard 4-bar pickup and 6-inch-wide 3-ply mini-rough top belts with rectangular wire lacing hooks.
Three deluxe models feature a 540 or 1000 rpm drive, a clean-sweep 4-bar pickup, 6.5-inch-wide 3-ply chevron belts with heavy-duty plate-type lacings and staggered belt routing to minimize trash buildup. Two of the deluxe models can also be equipped as silage-special models.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
A Round Baler from Gehl provides the features and options to make baling easier than ever. Choose from three twine-wrap control systems, Quickwrap™ Net Wrap System, a bale kicker and more.
STEERING MONITOR
- Building better bales has never been easier. With the unique in-cab steering monitor, simply steer the tractor in the direction of the arrows to make full, consistent, well-shaped bales every time. Even inexperienced operators will make good-looking, fully-packed round bales right from the start.
CONTROL OPTIONS
Balers from Gehl provide three distinct twine-wrap control options.
AUTOMATIC BALE CONTROL SYSTEM. The Automatic Bale Control System features an easy-to-read digital screen and audible alarm. The operator can monitor the entire baling process and make adjustments from the tractor seat. With this system, the operator selects automatic control, number of wraps, placement of twine and bale diameter size. The monitor's electronic readout shows bale growth, tailgate position and daily and lifetime bale count. In addition, the bale control system functions as an electronic trouble-shooter - codes programmed into the system alert the operator to problems that may occur.
AUTOMATIC TWINE WRAP CONTROL BOX. Gehl also offers an Automatic Twine Wrap System that's ideal for operators who want the convenience of automatic twine wrap but do not wish to monitor and adjust functions from the tractor seat.
MANUAL CONTROL SYSTEM. With the manual control system, the operator directs the twine placement with a toggle control. A twine arm indicator accurately shows the position of the arm at all times, and a mechanical bale size indicator shows the size of thr growing bale.
THREE-BALL TWINE BOXES
Gehl balers are designed to keep you going all day long with six-ball twine storage. They're located in two full-size doors that open to provide easy access to baler components, such as the optional chain oiler system or the Total Density Control System adjustments.
QUICKWRAP™ NET WRAP SYSTEM
The Quickwrap™ option allows faster wrapping and nicer looking bales than using twine. Quickwrap™uses a simple, reliable design with easy net loading that makes using it a breeze for any operator. The net spreader bar ensures full-width bale coverage every time, as well as uniform net tension from beginning to end. The built-in tractor control monitor displays net movement and pinch roller rotation, to obtain a tightly wrapped bale every time. Built-in controls allow changing from twine to net without leaving the tractor seat.
BELTS
Standard balers feature flexible, 3-ply, mini-rough top belts with rectangular wire lacing hooks.
Deluxe balers feature chevron belts with heavy-duty, plate-type belt lacing. The belts are 6½" wide for closer spacing between belts and less space between the belts and side sheets. Belts are configured in a staggered pattern to minimize trash build-up.
