GEHL WHEEL RAKES SPECIFICATIONS >>

Gehl E-Series Skid Loaders

High-Capacity, Heavy-Duty Models.

Now Gehl offers four series of high-performance V-type Wheel Rakes. They're designed for all types of terrain and provide the clearance, coverage and consistency owners demand. There's no need to slow down either. Each series is engineered for higher speeds so that less time is spent in the field. Make windrows right with Gehl.

To get the job done faster, hay producers need a Wheel Rake that offers high capacity and is easy to operate and maintain. Check out the 600-Series and 700-Series Wheel Rakes from Gehl. With raking widths up to 38 feet and as many as 20 raking wheels, hay fields seem much smaller. Sturdy construction, high ground clearance, and a new terrain-adapting design that all but ensures the days of looking back are over.

700-Series:

Gehl 700 Series Wheel Rake

If wide raking widths and extra heavy-duty construction are a requirement, the Gehl 700-Series is the solution. Choose from 12, 14, 16, 18 or 20 raking wheels, with raking widths from 25' to 38'. The 700-Series also boasts a superior rear frame clearance of 53" for loftier windrows. A tubular-frame construction and a rigid rear wheel frame ensure durability in high-wearing applications and conditions. For added maneuverability, the rear set of raking wheels is positioned behind the wheel frame.

A flex-frame design for adapting to the terrain is standard on 18- and 20-wheel models and optional on the 16-wheel unit. Other features include a massive tongue that shortens for extra flexibility in all working applications, and simple windrow width adjustment without the use of tools. Take advantage of the optional electric windrow adjuster, a Gehl 700-Series exclusive. Other options include extra raking and ground wheels, tandem rear axle kit, and a splitter wheel kit.

600-Series:

Gehl 600 Series Wheel Rake

Available with 10, 12 and 14 raking wheels, the highly durable and stable 600-Series covers a lot of ground. Raking widths range from 21'8" to 28'4". The high 50" rear frame allows making bigger, fluffier windrows. The rigid rear wheel frame is completely independent of the windrow width adjustment. And each 7 mm raking wheel tine is strengthened to deliver reliable performance in a variety of crops and terrain.

An optional flex-frame, available on the 14-wheel model, adheres to the contour of the terrain for smoother and more accurate raking. On all models, a massive tongue shortens in-field position for maneuverability while working. Gehl offers several optional upgrades. Select from field-installed components, including extra raking wheels, additional ground wheels, tandem rear axle kit, and a splitter wheel kit.

500-Series:

Convenience and performance are trademarks of the Gehl 500-Series. Choose from 10 or 12 raking wheels for up to 23' of working width. A dual-hydraulic system offers complete control from the tractor seat. One system to raise and lower raking wheels; a second system to extend and retract both sides of the rake. The transport wheels are located in back of the frame to avoid contact with heavy crops.

400-Series:

Gehl 400 Series Wheel Rake

Engineered for productivity, the Gehl 400-Series combines speed and versatility. They're also some of the most economical units available. Available with eight or ten raking wheels and raking widths up to 21'8", the 400-Series models provide clean material pick-up.

For increased flexibility, either side of the wheel rake can be locked while the other is lowered, to allow raking single windrows and turning crops with ease. Hook-up is easy — simply back up the tractor, drop in the pin and connect the hydraulics.
