GEHL Compact Wheel Loader: A Machine with Many Advantages

Transporting bags of cement, comprehensive landscaping work, stacking hay bales... With a compact skid steer loader, the possibilities are endless! Equipped with four wheels, this machine is designed to operate on flat, hard surfaces. It is faster than a compact track loader, can travel on roads, and cover longer distances. For instance, the GEHL V275 model can reach speeds of 17.5 km/h (11 mph) thanks to its two-speed option, making it ideal for moving across large construction sites or extensive farms. Due to its small size and tight turning radius, the compact skid steer loader is highly maneuverable. It can be used in tight spaces, both outdoors and indoors.

Another feature that makes the compact skid steer loader so appealing is its power. This machine can lift and transport loads weighing several hundred kilograms while maintaining excellent stability. We offer a wide selection of interchangeable attachments for your compact skid steer loader, and swapping them out takes just a few minutes. For example, you can equip the machine with bale forks for handling haystacks or grapples for transporting tree logs. For more specialized tasks, hydraulic breakers, post drivers, crushers, or pusher blades are also available. GEHL compact skid steer loaders are always equipped with the latest enhancements to meet your needs. They are designed with operator safety in mind, featuring high-performance Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) and Falling Object Protective Structures (FOPS). Additionally, access to the chain drive has been simplified to reduce maintenance requirements.

Compact Wheel Loader with Radial or Vertical Lift

When purchasing a compact wheel loader, you will have a choice between a radial or vertical lift system. If you need greater forward reach at the midpoint of the lift cycle, consider purchasing a wheel loader with a radial lift. Thanks to their design, these models are also easier to maintain in the field. On the other hand, vertical lift models offer increased reach at full lift height. This makes them more practical for high-elevation stacking (up to 4 meters). However, by reducing the reach, you can increase the lifting capacity.

Our compact skid steer loaders are available with various equipment options. For greater comfort, you can, for example, choose a color display that shows real-time information. Acting as a true assistant, this display helps avoid hazardous maneuvers and alerts you in the event of a breakdown. Thanks to this intuitive interface, our machines are suitable for a wide range of operators.
