The compact loader is a versatile machine that allows you to carry out all kinds of work. GEHL machines were originally designed for agriculture, but current models are also suitable for construction or development. Our models are capable of carrying out silage, earthmoving or leveling work. The compact loader is also an ideal handling machine. Equipped with a standard bucket, it can transport loads of several hundred kilos. Thanks to its compact design and all-terrain capabilities, it can easily access tight spaces, which is essential on urban construction sites or congested agricultural buildings. Thus, it constitutes an alternative to the articulated loader, which is larger and more complex.

The different GEHL compact loaders
There are two main types of compact loaders: wheeled models and tracked models. The compact wheel loader is ideal for both outdoor and indoor work. Equipped with 4 wheels, it allows you to move on flat and solid floors. We offer models of different powers and capacities. Radial lift loaders have an optimal reach in the middle of the lifting path: between 3 and 4 m. If you need greater reach at full lift height, look to the vertical lift skid steer loader. Our models offer a range of more than 4 m. The compact track loader is designed to navigate rough and uneven terrain. During agricultural work, it exerts low pressure on the soil, which is essential to preserve crops. It is also ideal for muddy construction sites and landscaping. We offer models with radial or vertical lifting in both tire and track models.
To choose a compact loader that meets your needs, also consider characteristics such as nominal capacity, power and even speed. At GEHL, we offer you a wide choice of models, from the small 25 kW loader to the 53 kW compact loader. On some models, options are available. For example, you can increase the capacity of a loader by equipping it with a counterweight. You can also choose the two-speed option to improve movement speed.
